Cargo insurance

Jónar Transport offers its customers cargo insurance. Estas seguros se a todas las categorias de productos, otros than personal belongings and vehicles.

A. insurance:

Shipments are insured up to a C+F value of ISK 6,1 million and costs ISK 3000 per shipment.

‍

B. insurance:

Shipments covering shipments with a C+F value exceeding ISK 6,1 million, up to a maximum of ISK 24 million, cost of 0,34% of the C+F value.

C. insurance:

Shipment with C+ F value exceeding ISK 24 million - insurance can be bought if requrested prior to transport.

Pay close attention to the following:
All those who have had A and B insurance with us, as well as all new members, are automatically insured.

‍

Those who did not have any insurance through us, at their own request, keep it unchanged unless they confirm otherwise in writing.

‍

It is very important that you, our good customer, realize how the above works. Great value can be at stake and above all we want you to have full clarity of our insurances provided.
