Conditions of carriage - air transport

Rights and Obligations for Transportation.

The terms of carriage of cargo carriers are defined on the bills of lading. The terms and conditions specify the rights and obligations for the carriage. It is important to make comments immediately upon receipt of goods in case of damage.

International rules and time limits for claims can be seen on the back of an air cargo letter under IATA Resolution 600b at each time. If there are deviations from our link below and IATA Resolution 600b, then the latest IATA applies.

In particular, the provision on the limitation of the carrier's liability is pointed out and customers are advised to insure their goods accordingly.

We point out that in case of damage it is necessary to keep in mind the following time frame, from the arrival of the goods and the written notice of claim:

14 days for damage

21 days due to delay

120 days for lost shipment
