Jónar Transport hf operate under the followings terms and conditions. By using the services of Jónar Transport hf you agree to these terms.

Service terms and conditions

Jónar Transport's hf terms and conditions of service apply to all work and all services undertaken by the company, as applicable, in accordance with what is further stipulated in the terms. The terms and conditions define the legal position of Jónar Transport's hf customers towards the company regarding the services and work undertaken by the company. The terms contain, among other things, provisions on the rights and obligations of the parties, the liability of the parties and the limitation of Jónar Transport's hf liability.

In addition, the general terms of service of the SVÞ Federation of Trade & Services [SVTH] transport division apply to the services provided by the Jónar Transport hf. The terms are primarily intended to clearly stipulate the rights and obligations in agreements between member companies of the transport division and their customers when it comes to any type of transport-related service where a separate bill of lading is not issued. The terms are then cited in the agreements between the parties

Customs Brokerage General Terms

The Customs Brokerage Terms are primarily intended to clearly stipulate the rights and obligations in contracts between the customs brokerage of Jónar Transport hf and their clients. These terms come into effect when a Power of Attorney (POA) for customs clearance is in place.
